FAMILY STORY

My family story is simple, just like most everyone else's ancestors they came from overseas. But there is a little twist to mine that i think is unique. My dad's side of the my family owns a small cottage in Onterio, Canada that serves as the perfect summer get away. It's beautiful, right on Lake Huron the water is crystal clear and the weather is always perfect. Not far from there is a huge mansion that is still standing, but is horribly lacking structure anymore. To get there you have to cross a small river and a bridge that is named the Fettis bridge. Inside the house the stairs are delapatated and the paint on the walls are peeling. No one obviously lives there but the remnants of human life are visible inside this monstrous house. The story behind this house is not intersting to most but it is to me because it shows my earliest ancestors. They are buried beyond the trees on the farm land and the graves are still visible. I believe I am lucky to still be able to learn and see where my families roots came from and to now see where they have progressed.
