Mystery of Language
One of the most interesting languages and cultures to me is the Chinese. Out of it all though, is their language. To me its just a bunch of lines, scribbles, and curves. Its amazing to me how three little lines crossing eachother can make up a word. Most languages use the letters we use everyday but, they just have different spellings, and maybe have accents, tilde's, ene's, or umlaut's. But not the chinese, i wonder if back when they were writing thier alphabet they decided that they just wanted to be different or they thought that thier was was the only way you could write letters and words. It's such a mystery, people can think of their own way of explaining but no one will ever know for sure. Like many other mysteries of our world this one I would really like to be explained. I would like to meet the person that came up with thier alphabet and just asking him what he was thinking when he wrote what he did all those years ago.
